How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex?

Add Crafd to the assistant, then sign in and choose what it can do in your studio.

  1. Add Crafd to the assistant.

Give it the address https://crafd.com/mcp. In Claude, add it as a custom connector. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http crafd https://crafd.com/mcp. In Codex, run codex mcp add crafd --url https://crafd.com/mcp.

  2. Or add it to ChatGPT.

In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, choose + and then Add custom MCP server. Enter the address as the Server URL, choose OAuth with a client metadata document (CIMD), then Create as a plugin and install it.

  3. Sign in to Crafd.

The assistant opens a Crafd page in your browser; sign in if you aren’t already. In Claude Code, run /mcp and choose Authenticate first. In Codex, run codex mcp login crafd.

  4. Choose what it can do.

The page names the app and the address it came from. It can always see your drops, orders, followers and settings. Tick Draft drops and suggest changes or See who bought only if you want it to, then choose Allow.

  5. Ask it something.

Try “What needs packing today?” The app now appears in Connected apps (sign-in required).

Only connect from the assistant’s own app, never from a link someone sends you. If the address on the page isn’t the assistant you expect, choose Cancel.
