How do I connect Stripe to get paid?
Connect your payout account before opening a drop for orders.
- Open Payouts.
Go to Settings (sign-in required) → Payouts (sign-in required) and choose Connect with Stripe. If you already started, choose Continue in Stripe.
- Finish Stripe’s setup.
Have your personal or business details, bank details and identification ready. Crafd creates a US Stripe account for you; Stripe asks you to choose a sign-in for it, then for what it needs. Setup is usually about five minutes, but its checks can take longer.
- Come back to Crafd.
Crafd checks the account after you return. Once ready, you go back to the saved draft you came from, or the unfinished setup checklist. Otherwise, Payouts shows what still needs attention.
Returning from Stripe does not itself mean you are ready. Look for Connected and ready. A live drop with payouts unavailable says Orders paused to buyers.
