Who sees my location, and who sees my address?
Crafd keeps three kinds of place apart, and only one of them is public.
- Your location is public.
Location in Settings → Profile (sign-in required) is a city and region, and it shows on your maker page.
- Your ship-from address is private.
Set in Settings (sign-in required) → Shipping (sign-in required), your ship-from address (sign-in required) is your return address and the place pickup tax is worked out from. It never appears on your maker page or drops.
- Your pickup location is shared after an order.
For a drop with local pickup, its Pickup location stays private until someone orders. Then they get it with their order.
Your account email isn’t on your page either, but buyers can reply to their order emails and to messages you send from an order, and those replies come to it, so they’ll see it there.
