Orders & fulfillment

What does the QR code on a packing slip do?

It is a permanent route back to this order, with private details protected by sign-in.

  1. When you scan it.

If you are signed in as the studio that owns the order, it opens that order’s details in Orders (sign-in required).

  2. When the buyer scans it.

A buyer already signed in with the matching email sees their purchase summary. Otherwise, the order’s sign-in page asks for the email used at checkout and sends a one-time link.

  3. Use the emailed link in time.

The link works for one hour and once. Open it, then choose See my order if asked. The summary shows the receipt and current delivery status.

The printed QR does not expire. Having the paper alone does not reveal the buyer’s receipt; the email must match. An owning maker’s studio sign-in takes precedence if that browser is also signed in as a buyer.
