When does each order need to ship?
Use the promise saved on that order, whether it ships or is collected.
- Read the order’s date.
Open a pending order in Orders (sign-in required). Shipping orders show Ships by; pickup orders show Ready by. The buyer’s confirmation includes their promised date too.
- For Once orders close.
Orders from the batch share the drop’s ships-by or ready-for-pickup date as it stood when each payment was confirmed.
- For As orders come in.
Each order’s date is its payment date in your timezone plus the drop’s 1–14 calendar-day lead time. Orders paid on different days can have different dates.
Changing a published drop does not rewrite promised dates on existing orders. Mark pickup orders ready when they can be collected, and mark orders shipped only once the parcel is on its way.
