How is the price buyers see worked out?

Your piece price is the starting point; checkout shows the complete order total.

1. Start with your price.

   In the drop editor ↗ (sign-in required), Your price per piece ($) is your product price before Stripe processing. The preview shows one piece with the Crafd service fee included.

2. Add the Crafd service fee once per order.

   The fee is 5% of the product subtotal, rounded to cents, plus $0.55 for the order. It is not charged on shipping, tax or the tip.

3. Add delivery and any extras.

   Shipping is charged once per order at the package’s rate for that destination; pickup is free. Checkout adds tax where you have set it up, and any optional tip.

4. Check the breakdown.

   For two pieces priced at $20 each, the product subtotal is $40 and the Crafd service fee is $2.55. With $8 shipping and no tax or tip, the total is $50.55.
